Wash Park Summer Vacation

This past weekend part of the crew made the journey to northern Wisconsin to enjoy a little vacation up at my parents cabin. Ty, Lauren, Megan and I drove while Matt, Michal, Jaron and Suzi flew. The goal was to relax and enjoy the lake life that can't be found in CO. Fun was had by all and I think it was the beginning of a new annual tradition.

We went to Hoerl's pier for the diving event

We checked out the Musky Festival in Hayward so we took a mandatory stop at the Moccasin Bar

Dah Barn is full of manly (and potentially stupid) purchases right now.  But unlike Schmidty's monster truck, this puppy is here to stay.  Reed and Wade joined me to check out this sled in Minturn and the guy ended up having another awesome sled so Wade pulled the trigger on the other one.  We are ready to brap! Thanks for the tank of gas Matt and Schmidty.

While Matt and I were off checking out a Ski-Doo Summit that I failed to pull the trigger on, Schmidty was off drooling over a really big truck. Lucky for us, he made a classic epic Schmidty decision.

Weekend Warrior Teaser

Wade, Schmidty, Matt and I all have something in common...we sit on our butts all day working for "the man" at a typical corporate job. Working every day of the week means we get the pleasure of dealing with traffic, day old powder, and lift lines every weekend.  Although we realize this is a terrible lifestyle and something must change, it gives us a greater appreciation for the weekends that we do get to spend in the mountains. We are WEEKEND WARRIORS.

Cooking out and pool partyin!

A couple weekends ago, dah barn hosted their first cookout of the summer. Everyone left with full stomachs and livers, success!

The following weekend, the barnmates and friends enjoyed a relaxing day at Megan's pool. Everyone left with smiles and sunburns.

A true competitor, Jayna was willing to sacrifice everything for her team...including her bathing suit bottoms!!!!
